Join us for the 7th Annual Community Day Celebration
If you live, work, or volunteer in Lake Placid, you are invited to the seventh annual Community Day Celebration on Sunday, May 31 from 1:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. at the Olympic Jumping Complex (due to construction at the Horse Show Grounds).
This event is a celebration of the community with a picnic and party, including live music with Double Axel, fun and games for all ages; hot dogs, burgers, and other picnic fare — all of it free to attendees.
As part of this day, we will be promoting the volunteer spirit of this community. We are inviting local organizations to set up and showcase themselves and maybe even sign up a volunteer or two. We will also be presenting the Distinguished Volunteer of the Year awards as part of the festivities.
This event is free to all who live and work in Lake Placid!
